Discussions on R&D cooperation

New technologies, innovation and industrial development – these were the main topics of the meeting between Magdalena Hilszer, Vice President of the Management Board of the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone, and Rafał Cichy, Director of Łukasiewicz – Poznań Institute of Technology. The talks concerned the establishment of cooperation in the field of research and development and the implementation of modern solutions that can contribute to increasing the competitiveness of Polish companies.
During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation were discussed, particularly in the field of research and development of modern technologies that can support entrepreneurs operating in the Zone. Both parties recognised the potential in combining the Institute’s experience in R&D with the opportunities offered by the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone. This cooperation can contribute to the implementation of innovative solutions, increasing the competitiveness of companies and creating new initiatives to foster sustainable development.

The Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone has been successfully attracting domestic and foreign investors since 1997, becoming one of the key drivers of the region’s economic development. Thanks to the tax preferences offered, comprehensive administrative support and broad access to attractive investment areas, the K-S SEZ is one of the fastest growing special economic zones in Poland. Its activities contribute to an increase in the value of investments, the creation of new jobs and strengthening the position of the Polish market on the international arena.
